Job summary

At Home Healthcare of Middle Tennessee is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting. You will apply clinical standards to facilitate problem resolution and help patients achieve individualized goals while upholding the highest professional conduct.

The role requires a valid RN license (TN or compact), at least 2 years of nursing experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in TN or a compact state.

This job requires a person who can work independently, yet never forget that continuous care requires a team effort. Additional requirements include:

• You must have a valid State nursing license or a license from a compact state.
• At least 2 year of nursing experience in your specialty
• Ability to cope with the emotional needs of patients and their families
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Respecting the patient's privacy and maintaining confidentiality
• Current TN driver's license and automobile liability insurance
• BLS, PALS & ACLS Certification (Depending on floor)
• Current TB skin test
• You must be able to satisfy employee screening results (background check, drug testing, motor vehicle report, licensure verification, abuse registry, OIG excluded individuals)
• 2 letters of recommendation, resume & immunization records
• 2 References
• Pass a routine physical (Depending on accepted facility)
