MemorialCare in Laguna Hills, CA is seeking a Phlebotomy Tech to join the Emergency Services team in a fulltime day shift. The role performs blood draws, supports nurses and physicians, and maintains supplies and clerical duties in a fast-paced ED environment.

Requirements include six months of ED or ambulance experience, BLS, and CA Phlebotomy Certification; a high school diploma is preferred. The position offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for performance-based incentives.

Qualificações

• Six months experience in an emergency department setting or 12 months as an ambulance preferred.
• Units/Departments may determine experience based on unit-based standards.
• BLS certification required; CA Phlebotomy Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care and supports the health care team in a safe, cost-effective manner.
• Obtains/draws required blood specimens and documents collection of specimens.
• Documents findings in patient records per unit standards.
• Stocks and maintains supplies throughout the department.
• Provides secretarial support.
• Follows infection control policies/procedures.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care for infant to geriatric patients.

BLS certification

CA Phlebotomy Certification

Current CA EMT-1 license (preferred)
