Job summary

Cookeville Regional Medical Center's Emergency Department seeks an ED Technician to perform basic and advanced Nursing Assistant tasks under the direct supervision of an RN/LPN. You will support patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, and preferred CNA/EMT certifications. English literacy and BLS certification (or within 90 days) are required. Prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred CNA, EMT, EMT-P, Certified Phlebotomist, MA or Nurse Extern.
• Able to read and write English.
• BLS current or within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced Nursing Assistant skills under RN/LPN supervision.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and guidelines within the department and Medical Center.
• Other duties as assigned.
