Mercy Hospital Washington seeks a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the ED. The role provides hands-on patient support under RN/LPN supervision, focusing on comfort and wellness. Training is provided and advancement opportunities exist through our career ladder from PCA to PCT and beyond.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; CNA/CPTC certification or enrollment in a healthcare career program.
• Experience: No prior experience required – training provided by Mercy.
• Mercy caregiver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy and blood cultures.
• Enteral feedings.
• Wound care.
• IV/Foley removal.
• Tracheostomy care and suctioning.

Skills

No experience required

CNA/CPTC certification

BLS certification within 1 month

Education

High school diploma or GED

CNA/CPTC certification, enrollment in healthcare program
