Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Nurse Aide I/II for the Atrium Health Lincoln Emergency Department in North Carolina. This full-time, night-shift position (3p–3a) supports patients with daily living activities, vital signs, auxillary care, and basic clinical tasks.

36 hours per week with a pay range of $19.80–$29.70 per hour. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, taking vital signs, charting, and performing routine venipuncture and ECG under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I or with the state Board of Nursing as Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and measurements.
• Feeds and ambulates patients.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Observes and reports changes in patient conditions.
• Orients patients to the unit and safety procedures.
• Assists with clerical tasks and data entry.
• Maintains stock of supplies.
