Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN, is seeking an ED Paramedic for PRN shifts. You will provide patient-centered care in the emergency department, gathering data, monitoring vitals, and delivering treatments within the scope of practice.

Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, ensuring patient and staff safety, and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote compassionate care aligned with our mission and values.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required within 30 days.
• Paramedic licensure or NR-Paramedic required.
• Emergency department experience preferred.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The ED Paramedic provides high quality, patient-centered care within a defined scope of practice, according to certifications, state and local regulations, and facility policy. As a vital member of the healthcare team, the ED Paramedic gathers pertinent patient data, monitors vital signs, administers specified treatments and medications within the scope of practice, and ensures patient and personal safety in a hazard-free environment. The ED Paramedic delivers compassionate, holistic care, supporting the rights and dignity of all patients and promoting the vision/mission/values of the organization.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic, or (NRP) Nationally Registered Paramedic

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 159-bed facility providing quality healthcare to Sumner and surrounding counties for more than 45 years.
