Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Paramedic to join the Emergency Department team at Isleta, NM. You will provide advanced patient care, support nurses and physicians, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced ED environment.

Qualifications

• High school/GED required.
• Current NM Paramedic License required.
• Current BLS and ACLS is required.
• Previous EMS Dispatch experience preferred.
• 2 years ED patient care experience including triage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join Presbyterian’s Emergency Department team as a Paramedic at the Isleta PresNow and become an essential part of a fast‑paced, high‑performing clinical environment dedicated to exceptional patient care.
• Practice advanced skills within the State‑approved scope, supporting nurses and providers in caring for patients with a wide range of emergency and urgent needs.
• Help create a safe, therapeutic environment while performing key patient care tasks, monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms, maintaining electronic documentation, and ensuring equipment and supplies are ready when needed.
• Play a vital role in patient flow, assist with admissions and transfers, coordinate with EMS, and manage incoming medical calls to support smooth departmental operations.
• Deepen clinical expertise in a collaborative, team‑centered setting that values communication, growth, and mutual support.
