Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking an ED Paramedic for the Isleta PresNow in Albuquerque, NM. This on-site, full-time role requires state-licensed paramedics and ED experience to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Qualifications

• High school/GED required.
• Current NM Paramedic License required.
• 2-5 years of experience as a paramedic preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS is required.
• Previous EMS Dispatch experience preferred.
• 2 years ED patient care experience including triage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced paramedic care in the ED under state scope of practice.
• Support nurses and providers with patient care and monitoring.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation and charting.
• Coordinate with EMS and manage patient flow and admissions/transfers.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are ready and available when needed.
• Communicate patient status and changes to nursing and physician staff.
