Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Department Paramedic to join the ED clinical team at Androscoggin Valley Hospital. The paramedic will provide high-quality care, follow NH EMS protocols, and may accompany EMS on transfers to other facilities based on patient acuity.

The role requires graduate paramedic education, NH licensure, and state-required certifications. Two years of paramedic experience is expected, with hospital experience preferred, and a commitment to patient-centered

Qualifications

• Graduate of Paramedic Program.
• Current statewide NH EMS paramedic licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS/PHTLS etc.
• Two years of paramedic field experience preferred, hospital exp. advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide ED patient care per NH EMS protocols.
• Perform triage, medication administration, and treatments under physician orders.
• Coordinate with ED team to develop and update the plan of care.
• Document assessments, treatments, and transfers in the patient record.
• Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response calls and support other departments as needed.
