Job summary

Novant Health's Hilton Head Medical Center seeks a skilled Paramedic to join the Emergency Services team. You will perform assessments, document care, and support procedures under licensed providers, serving Hilton Head and Bluffton communities.

Schedule is Days/Mids with varying start times; required licensure and experience are listed in the posting.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
2 years of ED and CCT experience are required.
3 years of Event Medicine experience are required.
Paramedic Certification or Degree is required.
Current driver’s license in appropriate state for Critical Care Transport Departments is required.

Responsibilities

Perform patient assessments and collect medical history, vital signs, and clinical information.
Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to physicians/nursing staff.
Participate in rapid response and code team activities as assigned.
Accurately document patient care activities in the EMR.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, EMS personnel, and ancillary departments.
