CarolinaEast Health System seeks an ED Paramedic to join the emergency department team. You will provide patient care in collaboration with the RN, ED providers and other team members per NC OEMS and NC BON guidelines.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, NC EMT-P credential, 2 years of paramedic experience, and current AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications. Dedication to age-appropriate patient care is essential.
The Paramedic in the Emergency Department (ED) functions as a member of the ED team and is responsible for providing patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse (RN), ED providers and other members of the ED team. The ED Paramedic performs procedures and tasks outlined and approved for paramedics by the North Carolina Office of EMS (NC OEMS) and the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NC BON).
