Job summary

The Emergency Department at Baptist Health Hamburg is seeking a full-time Paramedic for the third shift in Kentucky.

You will perform patient assessments, provide ED care in collaboration with RNs, and document accurately in the EMR while maintaining excellent patient relations.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent; EMT-Paramedic license; BLS (within 30 days if not current); PALS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; within 30 days if not current.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment in conjunction with an RN; repeat assessment.
• Provides care to the ED patient.
• Accurate documentation of care provided into the EMR system.
• Ensures positive customer relations interactions.
