Job summary

UCHealth’s Greeley Hospital seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN to support department leadership and clinical operations on an on-site basis. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality outcomes, and adherence to professional practice standards in a fast-paced ED environment.

Required RN licensure with preferred 2+ years ED experience and 1+ year in a charge role. Certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC/ATCN, ENPC, CPI) are valued and expected to be obtained within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ED RN experience strongly preferred.
• 1+ years of Charge ED RN experience strongly preferred.
• State RN license in good standing is required.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC/ATCN, ENPC and CPI certifications preferred or must be obtained within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nurse Manager in leading the department to improve patient safety and outcomes.
• Develop and evaluate standards of care for the unit and patient population.
• Mentor and coach staff; ensure ongoing competency assessments.
