Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking an ED Crisis Social Worker to join a dynamic interdisciplinary team of social workers, nurses and providers dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care during mental health crises.

The ED Crisis Clinician provides frontline crisis assessments, short-term therapeutic support, and referral planning within a fast-paced Emergency Department, delivering care through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health profession.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in mental health setting.
• Licensure: LICSW (MN), LMFT (MN), LPCC (MN), LP (MN) or LPCC/MFT equivalent per MN Board requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments.
• Formulate individualized intervention and referral plans.
• Determine appropriate levels of care for patients.
• Provide crisis assessment, intervention and short-term therapeutic support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team with trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach.
