Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse to lead a department of frontline nurses in our acute care setting. You will advocate for staff, support professional growth, and ensure high quality patient care in alignment with department goals.

You will supervise nursing activities, document care using the nursing process, and ensure compliance with safety, risk management and regulatory standards while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• WA Registered Nurse license on hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a department of frontline nurses and care teams.
• Advocate for nurses and support professional growth.
• Communicate effectively in 1:1 and group settings; hold tough conversations as needed.
