Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to conduct timely ED evaluations and mobile assessments for inpatient consult liaison teams. You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to facilitate patient transitions and coordinate discharge planning, while maintaining thorough records and program data.

The role requires a Master’s degree in psychology or related field, and licensure such as LPC/LMFT/LAC/LPES with at least one year of counseling

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling or related field.
• One year of counseling experience.
• LPC/LMFT/LAC/LPES or related licensure is required.
• Experience delivering behavioral health evaluations in ED or acute care settings preferred.
• Strong collaboration with EM providers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely behavioral health evaluations in the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate mobile assessments for inpatient consult liaison teams.
• Collaborate with treating teams to facilitate transitions of care.
• Assist with discharge planning and community referrals.
• Maintain and document assessments and manage data.
• Communicate with patients and families and act as liaison between services.
