Job summary

SolvIT, Inc. in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking an Automotive Diagnostic Procedure Specialist to join our Diagnostic Flash team.

This fully onsite role focuses on developing guided ECU flashing procedures and diagnostic actions for a Stellantis initiative to improve dealership service quality. You will build procedures with wiTECH Studio, author updates for existing actions, and create new actions as needed, applying your diagnostic and ECU programming expertise to ensure accurate, efficient

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with diagnostic scan tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical processes.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure guided ECU flashing procedures (flash scripts) using wiTECH Studio.
• Author and update flash procedures for existing vehicle service actions.
• Create guided flash procedures for new vehicle service actions as needed.
• Apply automotive diagnostic and ECU programming knowledge to develop accurate procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve guided programming processes.
