Job summary

General Motors is seeking a technical leader to drive ECU software flashing and embedded systems deployment across GM manufacturing sites. You will own planning, coordination, and execution to deliver high‑quality results at scale, partnering with software, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

The role requires leading hands-on deployment activities, traveling up to 50% domestically and internationally, and building standardized processes and training materials for future deployments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with vehicle ECUs, embedded systems, or in-vehicle software deployment.
• Experience leading teams in high‑tempo, operational environments with execution responsibility.
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet) and ECU interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead reflash events across GM manufacturing sites, ensuring readiness and quality.
• Plan and coordinate reflash events with software/engineering teams aligned to release schedules.
• Develop resource plans and provide on-site leadership during ECU reflashing activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers to standardize processes and drive improvements.
• Develop training and documentation to enable teams and contractors.
