Job summary

Acadia Healthcare's ECU Behavioral Health in Greenville, NC is hiring a Full-time ECT RN to support our growing behavioral health program. Ideal candidates will have ECT or procedural nursing experience and behavioral health background to provide safe, compassionate care around electroconvulsive therapy.

The role focuses on pre/post treatment nursing, patient education, monitoring during ECT, and collaboration with the treatment team to ensure patient safety and smooth operation of the ECT

Qualifications

• RN license required in North Carolina.
• ACLS certification required.
• IV certification required.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-treatment care for patients receiving ECT.
• Educate patients and families about the ECT procedure.
• Monitor during treatment and post-anesthesia recovery.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure smooth patient flow through the ECT process.
• Maintain patient safety and document clinical data.
