Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health, a UHS facility in Dearborn, seeks an ECT Procedure Registered Nurse (RN) to provide pre-op, intra-procedural and post-op care for psychiatric patients undergoing ECT treatments. The RN will also perform medication passes and patient assessments as part of a collaborative health team.

This part-time role requires a nursing degree, with preference for BSN, and familiarity with cardiac monitoring and post-op care.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Working knowledge of ECT practices and clinical operations.
• Able to provide Pre-op and Post-op care.
• Ability to monitor vitals and use a cardiac monitor.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-op, procedure and post-op care for patients receiving ECT treatments.
• Coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaboration with health team members.
• Provide patient supervision, care and discharge planning.
