Stanford Health Care is seeking an ECT Program Coordinator to plan, organize, and facilitate care for patients receiving Electro-Convulsive Therapy in the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role coordinates with staff across departments, verifies insurance coverage, and educates patients and families about treatment plans and financial responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have a nursing or medical background, with a Master’s in Social Work preferred, and at least two years of behavioral

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or other medical field required.
  • MSW preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

  • Care coordination for caseload of patients in the ECT department.
  • Initial referral intake and education, insurance verification, and consult assignment.
  • Liaison with inpatient/outpatient providers to follow through with treatment plans.
  • Ongoing communication with Ambulatory staff, anesthesia, ECT physicians, and psychiatry staff.
  • Review for appropriateness, level of care, and length of stay; ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Intake, referral, treatment planning, resource allocation, and progress updates for patients.
