This job operates at high-end residential and commercial job sites; employees are frequently required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl and occasionally sit. It requires the ability to bend or stand as necessary and to move or lift objects regularly up to 50 pounds, often in varying weather conditions.
Work as an LV technician, 40 hours per week. Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass the Electrician’s Trade Aptitude Test. Employees attend one day per week through a Joint Apprenticeship Training Program (free). Wages are based on the union scale and increase with hours worked. The program typically takes about three years to complete and to become licensed.
This position is covered by the MN Limited Energy collective bargaining agreement with a pay range of $33.44 to $51.07 per hour. Compensation details are determined by skills, qualifications, experience and location.
