Qualifications

• 60 college credit hours or equivalent certification required.
• Must have passed ParaPro Assessment prior to 2013-09-23 or equivalent.
• Must have passed Paraprofessional Assessment through Pearson between 2013-09-23 and 2024-06-20.
• Must have passed ParaPro Assessment through ETS from 2024-07-01 onward.
• Completion of the 20HR Substitute Certificate Course.

Responsibilities

• Support the teacher and classroom in implementing and monitoring a program to enhance student success.
• Follow district policies, safety rules, and maintain professional relationships.
• Provide instructional support, reinforce skills, and assist with grading, attendance, and materials as directed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, students and parents/guardians.
• Maintain accurate records and support behavior and learning interventions.
