Job summary

Stellar Development Foundation in San Francisco seeks a Senior Manager, Ecosystem Growth to lead a team of program managers and community managers. You will shape strategy, set metrics, and run planning to ensure visibility and alignment with SDF's mission.

You will own the builder funnel from founder discovery to funding, launch, and growth, coordinating with Business Development, Developer Relations, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to move resources to where Stellar has impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ecosystem growth or related programs, including 3+ years managing people
• Track record building and developing strong teams with hiring and coaching
• Experience running a funding or accelerator program at scale
• Working knowledge of blockchain and crypto with credibility among technical founders
• Ability to spot traction and make hard resource decisions
• Data-driven with metrics and dashboards
• Operational discipline with scalable processes
• Clear written and spoken communication with executives and community

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of senior program managers and community managers; set clear goals and provide direct feedback.
• Set the team’s strategy, goals, and metrics; ensure planning and reporting is visible and aligned with the rest of SDF.
• Own the full builder funnel, from finding founders through selection, funding, launch, and growth, with the Stellar Community Fund at its core.
• Oversee programs that help funded teams reach users and customers, such as accelerator.
• Partner with Business Development, Developer Relations, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to ensure funding reaches the markets where Stellar is most useful.
• Define and report measures that show whether the portfolio is working: launch rates, retention at 3, 6, 12 months, follow-on funding, on-chain activity, and real user adoption.
• Use AI tools and automation to scale review, tracking, and reporting without growing headcount.
• Keep the Stellar builder community informed and engaged as programs change, and represent SDF at Meridian, hackathons, and industry events
