Job Description
Economists at Amazon partner closely with senior management, business stakeholders, scientists and engineers, and economist leadership to solve key business problems across various domains including Amazon Web Services, Kindle, Prime, inventory planning, international retail, third-party merchants, search, pricing, labor and employment planning, and benefits management. Amazon Economists build econometric models using our world-class data systems and apply approaches from applied macro/time series, microeconomics, econometric theory, empirical IO, health, labor, public economics, and related fields. You will work in a fast-moving environment to solve business problems as part of cross-functional teams or central science and economics organizations. Your role involves developing econometric techniques for large data sets, addressing quantitative problems, and designing automated systems.

Compensation for this position ranges from $136,000 to $212,800 annually, depending on geographic location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers total compensation including benefits, equity, and sign-on bonuses where applicable. For more details, visit this link.
