Job summary

Walmart is offering a 11-week summer internship with its Economics team in Hoboken, NJ. You will participate in a meaningful project or a component of a full-time effort, and partner with business and technology teams in the Home Office.

You will design and analyze experiments to inform strategic decisions. You will guide decision-making by evaluating the impact of potential changes and perform causal inference using econometrics and statistics.

Qualifications

• Must be actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Passion for economics or experience assisting with academic research.
• Knowledge of experimentation and causal inference methods.
• Experience analyzing large datasets is a plus, ideally coding in SQL, R, or Python.
