Wisconsin Counties Association is seeking a County-level position focused on economic support tasks and public assistance program administration. The role involves explaining program benefits, determining eligibility through interviews, and referring clients to appropriate services, while serving as a call-center liaison for the Bay Lake Consortium.
The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and 3 years in human services with a valid driver's license.
Perform economic support tasks essential to delivery of services and administration of programs, including but not limited to: explain requirements and benefits of public assistance programs to customers/public; conduct interviews to determine eligibility for assistance; refer customers to other agencies/services when appropriate, etc. Serve as call-center agent for Bay Lake Consortium. Qualifications: High School diploma; three years-experience in human service agency, service provider setting or interviewing/interrogation experience in human services capacity; insurance acceptable driver’s license; complete Income Maintenance New Worker Training through WI DHS within 6 months of employment. 40 Hours/Week. $23.92 – $29.02 per hour.
