The Town of Plainfield is seeking an Economic Development Coordinator to assist the Director of Economic Development in implementing programs that attract and retain businesses, redevelopment, and community investment. You will research, coordinate projects, monitor compliance, and maintain records for boards including the RDC, EDC, RDA, and PMIC.

Responsibilities include managing incentives, preparing reports and agreements, coordinating meetings, and supporting grants and funding programs

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; 2–5 years of professional experience in economic development, redevelopment, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills are required; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Mansioni

• Assist the Director of Economic Development with programs to attract and retain businesses and private investment.
• Coordinate day-to-day administration of economic development, redevelopment, arts, culture, placemaking and community investment programs.
• Provide support to the Redevelopment Commission, Economic Development Commission, Redevelopment Authority and related entities.
