Job summary

The City of Chandler, Economic Development Division, is seeking an Economic Development Specialist to join our team. The role focuses on lead generation, marketing campaigns, and collaboration with clients to attract private investment and support local businesses.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience, plus a valid driver's license. This is a full-time position with a standard M-F schedule and a chance for flexible options

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in economic development, marketing, or related areas.
• Valid driver’s license or equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive lead generation, sales and marketing campaigns to attract new investment.
• Engage with clients and networks to promote Chandler’s value proposition.
• Assist project managers on more complex economic development projects.
• Prepare reports, maintain data resources, and represent the team at trade shows.
