Job summary

The City of Lilburn is seeking an experienced Economic Development Administrator / Project Manager to drive the city’s economic growth, redevelopment, and real estate initiatives from concept through completion.

You will lead recruitment and retention efforts, coordinate cross‑departmental projects, and provide market research to inform policy and incentives, while maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; seven (7)+ years in economic development, real estate development, or related field.
• Equivalent education/experience accepted.
• Valid driver’s license required (GA if in Georgia).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate economic growth strategies aligned with the city’s plan.
• Lead business recruitment, retention, and expansion efforts with stakeholders.
• Coordinate redevelopment and real estate development projects with internal/external partners.
• Conduct economic research, data analysis, and feasibility assessments.
• Develop and administer incentives and partnerships.
• Support marketing to position the city for investment and growth.
• Prepare reports and presentations for city leadership and boards.
