Job summary

The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber seeks an Economic Development Coordinator to support administrative tasks, research, and project coordination for its economic development initiatives in Oklahoma City. You will help with business attraction, retention, and expansion efforts, maintain records in Salesforce, and prepare recruitment materials and proposals.

Applicants should have a degree (associate or bachelor) and relevant experience in economic development or related fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred in business, economics, marketing, public administration, urban planning, or related field.
• Experience with economic development, chambers of commerce, or public-sector initiatives preferred.
• Experience maintaining CRM systems and preparing reports and presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work with leadership and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and project coordination support for economic development programs and daily team activities.
• Schedule meetings, travel, and events; coordinate materials and follow-up communications.
• Compile market, workforce, company research to support recruitment and expansions; monitor regional news.
• Maintain Salesforce and other databases; manage distribution lists and lead records.
• Prepare RFIs, proposals, presentations, and recruitment collateral; assist with site/building information.
