Job summary

Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development is seeking an Economic Development Coordinator to join our collaborative team. The role supports business incentive programs, data-driven reporting, and engagement with partners to drive growth in Larimer County.

You will manage enterprise zone activities, contribute to grants, and help coordinate incentives while leveraging data to measure impact and inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties.
• Possess reliable transportation to be able to work in any County facility as needed and required.

Responsibilities

• Executes the Larimer County Enterprise Zone program, coordinating with the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) and overseeing program certifications, reporting, compliance, and required deliverables.
• Executes Enterprise Zone pre-certifications, contribution tax credits, annual certification submissions, reviews contributions projects, develops and inputs new contribution project applications, attends all requirement monthly and annual meetings and ensures accurate documentation, timely processing, and compliance with State requirements.
• Coordinates Enterprise Zone Contribution Projects, including evaluating prospective projects, managing annual recertifications, tracking contributions, maintaining financial records, and administering applicable grant reporting and reimbursement processes.
• Provides program coordination and administrative support for Opportunity Zone Projects, BPPT rebates, Local Industry Grant Hire, LIGHTR grants, and other County economic development programs and incentives.
• Serves as a resource to businesses, providing program guidance and technical assistance, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and helping businesses access available economic development programs and resources.
