The role prepares research, presentations, and responses; maintains development information; and researches grant opportunities to support EDA activities and planning.
Responsibilities include compiling market indicators, providing data-driven insights, and coordinating data for short- and long-term EDA objectives.
We are looking for an Economic Development Coordinator to support the County's economic development efforts and help advance business growth within the community. This position collects and analyzes site, real estate, and market information; prepares research, presentations, and responses for prospective businesses; and provides data and market intelligence to support Economic Development Authority (EDA) activities and planning. The Economic Development Coordinator also maintains economic development information, researches grant opportunities, and coordinates the annual compilation of market performance indicators.
Work involves light physical effort, including handling materials weighing up to 20 pounds; extended periods of sitting; and occasional walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching, and gripping. The position requires communicating with others, reviewing and analyzing written and computer information, and observing the work environment.
Work is primarily performed in an office with moderate noise, such as conversation and light traffic. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
