Job summary

Kroger in Newport, RI is seeking a Web Content Editor to assist in the ongoing organization of product data in the Kroger Product Item Master. This hybrid role requires two in-office days per week at the Corporate Office and close collaboration with PL Marketing and suppliers to ensure accurate digital presentation of products.

You will validate items, set taxonomy, edit marketing messages, and support internal databases and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (English, Communications, Advertising or Marketing degree preferred).
• Experience working in grocery industry preferred.
• Capacity to learn multiple computer systems and web-based applications.
• Skill and diplomacy in communicating with people.
• Able to interact effectively with cross-functional teams to accomplish common goals.
• Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Work in our Corporate Office as part of a hybrid schedule.
• Ensure all items are set up in the PIM system to support digital presentation of Kroger products.
• Validate items and set taxonomy (Department, Commodity, Sub-Commodity) and operational attributes.
• Review and edit product marketing messages and descriptions.
• Create/update Microsoft Office documents and reports.
• Support internal databases and update SharePoint sites to track item progress.
• Coordinate efforts with multiple departments and Kroger suppliers.
• Represent PL Marketing professionally with Kroger associates.
• Support special projects as needed.
