Job summary

Ulta Beauty seeks a Sr. Transportation Analyst to partner with Ecommerce Transportation, driving performance and cost optimization across the network. You will use data to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and recommend actions to improve speed, reliability, and guest experience.

You will collaborate with carriers and cross-functional teams, lead optimization initiatives, forecast shipments, and translate findings into concise leadership updates and carrier reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics/distribution/supply chain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Experience in managing vendors/carriers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive ecommerce transportation performance improvement and optimization.
• Translate analytics into clear business recommendations for leaders.
• Support carrier performance management with data-driven insights.
• Lead transportation cost optimization through rate and surcharge analysis.
• Manage cross-functional projects to improve cost, service, and capacity.
• Own PSFA and peak forecasting using historical data and growth trends.
• Assist peak transportation planning with risk mitigation.
• Evaluate new fulfillment methods and network changes for impact.
• Collaborate with Technology, Store Ops, and Digital to solve issues.
• Prepare leadership-ready insights and QBR materials.
