Job summary

URBN is seeking a Software Engineer to support design, development, deployment and maintenance of our Ecommerce platforms including Anthropologie.com, UrbanOutfitters.com, FreePeople.com, and ShopTerrain.com. You will build customer-facing applications and collaborate with store brands to enhance the online shopping experience.

You will design and develop microservices, implement new features, and plan complex software solutions in collaboration with architects, developers, and end users.

Qualifications

• OO principles and design patterns.
• 3-5 years of software development experience.
• Experience with JSON, REST, HTML, AJAX, CSS.
• Self-starter and willing to take on new features.
• Proficient in Python/Golang.
• Strong understanding of RESTful services design.
• Strong data modeling skills.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of microservices and event driven systems.
• Develop new product features for Ecommerce applications.
• Plan, design, and develop complex software solutions with stakeholders.
• Interact with architects, developers, business partners and end users.
