Job summary

Atrium is seeking an Ecommerce Site Merchandise Specialist in New York, NY. This hybrid role (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) drives day-to-day site execution, especially during peak Q4 periods, requiring proficiency with Shopify and Shopify Plus to support multiple launches and campaigns.

You will execute promotions, update pricing, push campaigns live, manage PLP sorting, monitor inventory, and perform QA on site changes.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of ecommerce or site merchandising experience.
• Hands-on Shopify Plus experience.
• Proficiency with Shopify platforms and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Monday.com and Slack.
• Background in ecommerce, retail, DTC, CPG, beauty, fashion, or food industries.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

The hands-on Ecommerce Site Merchandise Specialist role is hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) and manages day-to-day site execution, especially during the high-volume holiday peak (Q4 through February). This role requires immediate proficiency with Shopify and related platforms to support multiple launches and campaigns efficiently. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing speed with accuracy and strong communication.

Responsibilities Of The Ecommerce Site Merchandise Specialist

• Execute promotions and campaign activations on the ecommerce site.
• Update pricing and promotional offers accurately.
• Push campaigns live and execute content refreshes.
• Support site merchandising and manage product listing page (PLP) sorting.
• Monitor inventory considerations related to the site.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) on site changes before and after launch.
• Troubleshoot Shopify and site issues independently.
• Support campaign and product launches with internal coordination.
• Manage multiple projects and launches simultaneously.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and coordinate execution.
• Track projects through to completion and communicate proactively about blockers.
• Maintain availability and engagement during the holiday peak season, including some on-call expectations.

Required Experience/Skills For The Ecommerce Site Merchandise Specialist

• Proficient with Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms, including troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong project management skills using Monday.com.
• Experience with Slack for team communication.
• Approximately 5 years of ecommerce or site merchandising experience, with flexibility for slightly more junior or senior candidates.
• At least a couple of years of hands-on Shopify Plus experience.
• Background in ecommerce, retail, direct-to-consumer (DTC), consumer packaged goods (CPG), beauty, fashion, or food industries.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable managing high volumes of launches and repetitive tasks with accuracy.

Preferred Experience/Skills For The Ecommerce Site Merchandise Specialist

• Experience with Dynamic Yield or other personalization platforms.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and inventory management/visibility.
• Strong site merchandising background and PLP sorting experience.
• Experience with additional ecommerce or project management platforms.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
