Job description

OUR PERKS

Our team enjoys work because:

  • Employee discounts on aftermarket parts and accessories for your own Toyota builds
  • Team outings and experiences that build real camaraderie, not just “company events”
  • Strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, IRA investment options, and paid time off
  • Competitive compensation based on skill, ownership, and performance
  • A clear growth path and development roadmap as we scale the business and expand the product lineup
  • A high-growth, fast-paced environment where you’ll work alongside a team that shares the same core values and takes pride in building something meaningful together
YOUR ROLE

Location: Onsite or Remote
Type: Full Time Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Compensation: $25 - $30 based on experience
Type: Hourly (Overtime Allowed)

As an Ecommerce Product Specialist at Yota Xpedition, you’ll play a critical role in scaling and maintaining our growing catalog of automotive aftermarket products. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that every product listed on our site is accurate, well-organized, visually consistent, and optimized to convert.

This role sits at the intersection of data, merchandising, and customer experience. You’ll work closely with our marketing, product, and content teams to bring new products to market efficiently while maintaining a clean, professional storefront that reflects the quality of the Yota Xpedition brand.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Listing Creation & Management: You will be responsible for accurately creating and publishing new product listings that meet brand, data, and customer experience standards.

  • Build product listings in Shopify using provided vendor and internal data
  • Input accurate titles, descriptions, pricing, SKUs, and specifications
  • Ensure listings follow internal formatting and merchandising guidelines
  • Validate product details before publishing

Catalog Organization: You will organize products in a way that improves navigation, discoverability, and the overall shopping experience.

  • Assign products to correct collections and categories
  • Apply consistent tags and filters across the catalog
  • Support site navigation and on-site search functionality
  • Help maintain a clean and scalable catalog structure

Data Accuracy & Maintenance: You will maintain the accuracy of product data across the site as products evolve over time.

  • Update listings for pricing, spec, or availability changes
  • Identify and correct inconsistencies or errors
  • Perform routine audits to ensure catalog accuracy

Media & Asset Coordination: You will manage product imagery and media assets to ensure listings are visually complete and consistent.

  • Upload and organize product images and videos
  • Ensure assets meet quality and brand standards
  • Verify correct image ordering and display
  • Coordinate with content team for missing or updated assets

Cross-Team & Vendor Collaboration: You will work closely with internal teams and vendors to keep products moving from intake to live.

  • Gather missing product data from vendors
  • Support bulk uploads and new product launches
  • Communicate issues or delays clearly and proactively
  • Assist with seasonal or promotional product updates
YOUR CREDENTIALS

Must Have Skills:

  • Hands-on experience managing product listings in Shopify
  • Experience building and maintaining product detail pages (PDPs)
  • Knowledge of automotive aftermarket products and terminology
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and supplier-provided product data
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy
  • Experience working with large product catalogs and SKU-heavy environments
  • Ability to follow structured processes and formatting standards
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Strongly Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Toyota truck and SUV platforms
  • Familiarity with Shopify apps related to catalog or data management
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices for PDPs
DO YOU FIT?

You're the kind of person who notices when a product title is formatted differently from every other one on the page and it bothers you enough to fix it. You're detail-oriented by nature, not by instruction. Working through a large catalog of SKUs, maintaining consistency across hundreds of listings, and catching errors before they go live is the kind of work you find satisfying, not tedious.

You understand that product data isn't just administrative work it directly affects whether a customer finds what they're looking for and feels confident enough to buy it. You take that seriously. You can move quickly through repetitive tasks without letting your accuracy slip, and you're comfortable coordinating with vendors and internal teams to track down missing information without letting things stall.

This role isn't glamorous, but it's foundational. If you take pride in building something clean and scalable behind the scenes, you'll fit right in here.
