ABOUT KEH

KEH is the world’s largest reseller of pre‑owned camera gear and a trusted name for photographers, videographers, and creators. Founded in 1979, the company maintains an inventory of more than 55,000 items, serves a loyal community of professional and enthusiast photographers, and has built its reputation on an industry-standard equipment grading system, a 180‑day warranty, and a customer experience consistently ranked among the best in online retail.

The re‑commerce market is in the early stages of a significant growth cycle as consumers increasingly seek to buy, sell, and trade pre‑owned products. KEH is investing aggressively to capture this opportunity — expanding its product categories, growing adjacent business lines, and building the technology and operational infrastructure to support the next stage of scale. KEH is majority owned by D Cubed Group, a private equity firm.

THE ROLE

As KEH expands its product categories and scales its re‑commerce platform, the customer‑facing commerce experience is one of the highest‑leverage places to invest. The Product Manager, eCommerce owns that experience end to end: the roadmap, prioritization, and day‑to‑day product decisions across KEH’s ecommerce site, Sell Wizard, Photo Center, and Rental.

A significant part of this role is innovating and building infrastructure for user testing, product analytics, session recording, and structured experimentation. This person will evaluate and implement the tooling, establish the processes, and build the habits of testing and measurement into how the team ships.

This is a business and UX‑oriented product role. You will translate commercial goals into a prioritized platform roadmap, partner closely with Engineering and Design to execute it, and measure your impact in conversion, revenue, and customer experience metrics. You will not own marketing channel performance; you own the platform marketing runs on, and you will work in close partnership with the marketing team on merchandising, campaigns, and conversion‑rate optimization. You will also keep a close pulse on customer sentiment through KEH’s unified customer feedback stream.

This role suits someone who thinks in outcomes rather than features, who wants to know what moved conversion and why a test failed before committing to the next direction, who is comfortable building something from nothing, choosing tools, standing up process, and getting a team into the habit of testing and measuring rather than guessing.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
  • The product roadmap for KEH’s customer‑facing eCommerce platform, spanning the Magento website, Sell Wizard, Photo Center, and Rental.
  • User testing program: recruiting, testing cadence, and a repeatable synthesis process.
  • Product analytics: event tracking, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure for the eCommerce platform.
  • Session recording and behavioral analytics tooling: evaluation, selection, implementation, and ongoing use to identify friction.
  • A/B testing and experimentation infrastructure: platform selection, test governance, rollout monitoring, agency coordination, and translating results into product decisions.
  • Customer sentiment monitoring across the unified feedback stream, surfacing patterns and translating them into roadmap input.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Develop and maintain a rolling product roadmap prioritized by business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility.
  • Own our session recording and behavioral analytics tools and build the habit of using them to diagnose friction.
  • Run the user testing program: recruiting panels, a testing cadence, and a repeatable process for synthesizing findings into product decisions.
  • Select and implement an A/B testing/experimentation platform, including test governance, QA, and rollout monitoring practices (guardrail metrics, sample size, stopping rules).
  • Build the analytics foundation for the platform: event taxonomy, tracking implementation, and dashboards using GA4, Looker, or equivalent.
  • Monitor customer sentiment across the unified feedback stream and translate recurring signal into roadmap input.
  • Write clear, well‑scoped product requirements and user stories that meet Definition of Ready before entering a sprint.
  • Partner with Marketing to translate campaign, merchandising, and CRO needs into platform requirements.
  • Work with Design and Engineering to execute features from discovery through launch, maintaining sprint readiness one cycle ahead.
  • Own conversion optimization at the platform level, identifying friction across search, navigation, PLP/PDP, cart, and checkout.
  • Work with Engineering and IT on platform stability, integrations, search, speed, security, and mobile performance.
  • Evaluate and manage eCommerce platform vendor relationships and third‑party integrations.
  • Serve as the primary business‑side point of contact for the Magento platform.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required
  • 3–5 years of product management experience on a consumer‑facing eCommerce or DTC retail platform.
  • Direct experience standing up a product analytics, testing, or experimentation capability from scratch (0‑to‑1), not just operating an existing one.
  • Fluency in analytics tools (GA4, Looker, or equivalent) and a proven ability to turn data into product decisions.
  • Experience selecting and implementing A/B testing/experimentation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, or similar).
  • Familiarity with session recording and behavioral analytics tools (e.g., FullStory, Hotjar, or similar).
  • Experience owning a product roadmap end‑to‑end, including requirements, backlog prioritization, and agile delivery with an engineering team.
  • Familiarity with Magento, BigCommerce, Shopify, or a comparable eCommerce platform.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across Marketing, Design, Engineering, and Operations.
  • High comfort with ambiguity and the ability to prioritize across competing demands.
Preferred
  • Experience with voice‑of‑customer or unified feedback platforms (e.g., Enterpret or similar) that aggregate sentiment across channels.
  • Experience in re‑commerce, technical retail, premium consumer products, or another inventory‑led business with complex merchandising needs.
  • Familiarity with photography, videography, or an enthusiast‑driven product category.
  • Experience with personalization tools, on‑site search optimization, or lifecycle marketing platforms.
  • Background in omnichannel environments connecting online experience to physical retail or fulfillment.
