Job summary

Slate is seeking an eCommerce Merchandising Specialist to expand our accessory, wrap, and merchandise catalog. You will manage content in Akeneo, coordinate assets, and ensure new products go live on time with accurate data.

You will collaborate with product, design, marketing, and analytics teams to optimize product storytelling, page layouts, and go-to-market launches. Travel 5–10% is required in this fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field.
• 3–5 years in ecommerce merchandising, catalog management, or product content operations.
• Hands-on experience with a PIM or CMS; Akeneo preferred; training possible.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising strategy across the ecommerce experience with on-brand storytelling on every page.
• Maintain catalog in Akeneo and flag data quality and consistency gaps.
• Own product setup and launch: data entry, asset coordination, and SKUs live on schedule.
• QA English and Spanish content; leverage AI to increase efficiency and output quality.
