Job summary

Goodwill of Greater Milwaukee & Chicago seeks an Inbound Associate to prepare and list items for online sale and shipping nationwide. You will photograph items, assess value, write descriptions, and ensure accurate data handling while working in a team-oriented warehouse environment.

The role requires independent work capability, basic computer skills, and potentially forklift certification. You will contribute to training and continuous improvements, maintaining safety and efficiency across

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Computer skills with word processing and how to use email and internet software.
• Forklift certification, if required at site.
• Must be able to function independently in a work setting.

Responsibilities

• Accurately represent items in photographs: plan presentation, camera position, lighting, and key shots to produce desired effects.
• Research items, accurately portray weights, measures, and shipping charges.
• Determine merchandise value based on quality, trends, brands and price guides.
• Fully and accurately write all product descriptions and attributes (including damages).
• Disassemble whole system into components using various tools.
• Maintain inventory for listing at stations and ensure production standards.
• Assist with training and mentoring of associates.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Meet daily productivity goals through efficient handling of product and rotation between stations.
• Maintain confidentiality of sales information.
• Engage in change and project work as needed.
• Problem solving with light supervision and independent work.
• Community engagement: champion Goodwill initiatives.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
