Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the North America e-commerce planning cycle, including annual, monthly, and weekly budgets and forecasts. You will drive month-end close, ad-hoc analyses, and produce management-ready narratives for senior leadership in a fast-paced, global eyewear business.

Lead complex financial models, collaborate with Planning and Brand teams, and develop reporting automation to improve efficiency and accuracy across the NA e-commerce finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• 5+ years progressive financial experience in Financial Controllership & Analysis.
• Technical knowledge and understanding of financial statements.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint; planning tools such as Hyperion, SAP and Business Objects.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build the business through improved analysis, trending and reporting.
• Strong business acumen and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, documents, and improves complex financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
• Owns budgeting and forecasting processes with planning and brand teams.
• Analyzes brand performance and prepares Budget/Forecast vs Actuals and KPI analyses.
• Generates reports and queries using the financial system to support initiatives.
• Supports month-end closing and prepares journal entries and accruals.
• Leads information gathering for financial reports and management presentations.
• Analyzes special projects for financial impact.
• Prepares management reports for website managers and senior Luxottica leadership.
• Identifies opportunities to automate and streamline reporting and budgeting.
• Manages and develops direct reports and rotational staff.
