The Opportunity

Lab Alley is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Channel Manager to oversee and scale our multi-channel sales footprint, ensuring our "Essential Chemicals" are accurately positioned and seamlessly distributed across e-commerce platforms and partner networks. In this role, you will lead our digital channel strategy, optimize partner relationships, and drive revenue growth through Amazon, eBay, niche marketplace partners, and direct B2B channels. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where commercial strategy meets operational execution, we want you on our team.

In addition to overall channel growth, a primary goal for this position is to fully own the channel and directly drive key business outcomes by successfully onboarding and scaling our product lines on Amazon FBA. Achieving this will require extensive, hands‑on cross‑functional collaboration with both Marketing and Operations teams to ensure optimal product positioning, inventory preparation, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities: What You’ll Do
  • Channel Strategy & Execution: Lead and execute the sales strategy across online marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, B2B portals) and third‑party distribution channels to reach aggressive revenue targets.
  • Listing & Catalog Optimization: Oversee product listings, pricing, digital merchandising, and content presentation to maximize search visibility, conversion rates, and brand alignment.
  • Partner & Distributor Management: Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with marketplace account representatives, key channel partners, and wholesale distributors.
  • Cross‑Functional Logistics Integration: Partner closely with internal logistics, warehouse operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless inventory allocation, HazMat shipping compliance, and order fulfillment across all channels.
  • Performance Analytics & Forecasting: Track key performance indicators (e.g., channel ROI, buy‑box wins, inventory turnover, customer acquisition costs) and leverage sales data to forecast demand and drive revenue.
  • Promotion & Campaign Management: Design and launch targeted channel promotions, sponsored ad campaigns, and seasonal offers while maintaining strict MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policies.
Qualifications & Expertise: What You’ll Bring
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in channel management, e‑commerce marketplace leadership, or B2B sales management, ideally within industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical, or technical product sectors.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects, influence internal and external stakeholders, and cultivate a growth‑oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with major marketplace seller portals (Amazon Seller Central/Vendor Central), ChannelAdvisor or similar feed management tools, and integrated ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms, pricing strategies, margin optimization, and digital advertising tactics (PPC/Sponsored Products).
  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional data literacy with the ability to interpret sales metrics, demand trends, and channel profitability to make data‑driven decisions.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a track record of negotiating favorable terms and maintaining strong commercial partnerships.
