Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an eCOB Specialist II to research and investigate other coverage for company groups and members across multiple platforms. You will handle end-to-end COB functions, including reconciliation of claims, membership, and accounting, while communicating with carriers, members, and providers.

The role requires strong knowledge of NAIC and CMS COB guidelines and the ability to manage complex primacy rules and high-volume tasks with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in claims processing and customer service and 2+ years COB experience using NAIC & CMS COB guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Research and investigate other coverage for company groups and members.
• Perform end-to-end COB functions including claim reconciliation, membership, and accounting.
• Identify members enrolled in other coverage using primacy rules.
• Assist members enrolling in Medicare when entitled.
• Update membership systems with investigation results.
• Ensure correct forms for Medicare enrollment and reconcile/identify impacted claims.
• Handle multi-tasking across calls, texts, and electronic queues while taking notes.
