Job summary

SEEDS Ecology & Education Centers in Brethren, MI is seeking an EcoSchool Teaching Assistant for KND Elementary. The TA will work closely with youth, support the Site Coordinator, and provide nutrition, enrichment, and academic and emotional support to students. During the school year, 2-5 days per week, 3-4 hours per day; Summer 6-week program with 4 days per week, 6-7 hours per day.

Pay is $15.72 per hour. Must be at least 17, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to certify.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to certify.
• Duties include supporting nutrition, enrichment, and academic and emotional support for youth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and help deliver high-quality lessons with academic and social enrichment.
• Participate in SEEDS training to comply with DHS/MiLEAP after-school requirements.
• Invest in students and program to improve outcomes.
