Yale NewHaven Health is looking for a qualified Respiratory Therapist II based in New Haven, Connecticut. This position requires expertise in respiratory care assessments and involves direct patient care, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as an RRT in critical settings and must hold licensure from the State of Connecticut. Skills in communication, leadership, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in Respiratory Care approved by CoARC.
• Current active license by the State of Connecticut as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Minimum of 1 year as an RRT in Critical Care, Pediatric or Neonatal.

Responsabilités

• Provide age-specific respiratory care to patients.
• Document services administered and changes in patient clinical status.
• Consult and collaborate with co-workers for effective patient care.
• Maintain clinical competency through continuing education.
• Monitor and assess the ECMO circuit and patient status.
