SpecialtyCare is seeking an ECMO Specialist to operate and maintain ECMO circuits for patients requiring long-term cardiopulmonary support. The role works under ECMO orders and physician supervision to ensure safe, effective circuit management.

Responsibilities include assisting with ECMO initiation and termination, monitoring lab values and hemodynamics, and ensuring continuity and safety of ECMO therapy in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RN/RT/Perfusionist qualifications with appropriate licensure and certifications.
• ECMO expertise or strong clinical knowledge of ECMO therapy and circuit management.
• Demonstrated ability to work within physician-directed ECMO parameters.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain ECMO circuits for long-term pulmonary or cardiopulmonary support.
• Assist physicians and staff with initiation, course, and conclusion of ECMO therapies.
• Monitor circuit integrity, bed-side parameters, and plan of care during rounds.
• Assess blood gas, anticoagulation, and other lab values; titrate infusions and blood products as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and continuity of ECMO operations; uphold SpecialtyCare values.
