Job summary

University Health is seeking an ECMO Specialist to join the ICU team and coordinate extracorporeal therapy care for critically ill patients. The role involves ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of ECMO-related treatments in a multidisciplinary setting.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in critical care, ECMO training, and must obtain BLS, PALS, ACLS, and ECMO certification within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years critical care experience (PICU, NICU, CICU, EC).
• Completion of university health system or other ELSO-based ECMO training program preferred.
• Must obtain BLS, PALS, ACLS, and ECMO certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate ECMO patient care.
• Provides direct ECMO care and collaborates with the ECMO/ICU team to optimize patient outcomes.
