Job summary

Vast is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer (ECLSS) to support the fluid systems core of the Environmental Control and Life Support Systems for Haven modules. You will work on the shop floor with technicians, on first article through flight hardware, writing and redlining work instructions, and defining manufacturing processes for tube bending, fittings, and joint callouts.

The role emphasizes hands-on fabrication, documentation, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science required.
• Hands-on experience with fluid hardware, tube bending, fittings, brazing/welding advantageous.
• Experience supporting fabrication, assembly, testing, and first builds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute build, assembly, and integration of ECLSS fluid hardware on the shop floor with technicians.
• Create and maintain work instructions, build travelers, and inspection plans for ECLSS assemblies.
• Define manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures for safe, repeatable builds.
