Job summary

Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Extra-Corporeal Life Support (ECLS) Specialist with 3–5 years of experience to prime, initiate, monitor and troubleshoot CPS systems (Cardiohelp, Centrimag, SCPC, Rotaflow). The role supports multiple facilities across South Florida.

Requirements include an Associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred); RN or RT certification. If not ECLS-certified, AmSECT certification must be obtained within one year from start date.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; RN or RT certification.
• 3–5 years of CPS experience preferred.
• Must obtain AmSECT certification within 1 year from start date.
• Willing to work flexible schedules and able to communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Prime, initiate, monitor and troubleshoot CPS systems.
• Support multiple facilities in the South Florida area.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare teams to ensure patient safety.

Job description

Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. is looking for a full-time Extra-Corporeal Life Support (ECLS) Specialist, preferably with at least 3-5 years' experience. This includes the priming, initiation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of various cardiopulmonary support (CPS) systems (Cardiohelp, Centrimag, SCPC, & Rotaflow) in the clinical settings. This position will support multiple facilities in the South Florida area.

Requirements

Candidates must have an Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree preferred. Must be certified as a Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist, and if not certified as an ECLS Specialist, must obtain certification from AmSECT within one year from start date. Must be willing to work flexible schedules and demonstrate the well-developed interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, healthcare team members, patients and families.
